Sometimes I feel bad for all of my followers that don’t watch Hannibal, because I know there’s a lot of you, especially among those of you I talk to regularly, but then actually I don’t feel that bad sorry.
I posted this on my Facebook, but I feel like I need to post it here too, because reading this meant a lot to me for some reason.
A remark intended to shut you down like, “Calm down, you’re overreacting,” after you just addressed someone else’s bad behavior, is emotional manipulation, pure and simple.
Sound familiar? In a way it’s comforting to know that you’re not alone in your situation. And it makes me feel justified in my reaction. But at the same time, the fact that this is problem enough to have a name is disturbing.
