The third series of the BBC’s hit drama Sherlock will begin with an episode based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s short story The Adventure of the Empty House, the series’ co-creator Mark Gatiss has revealed.

Sherlock series three: new details revealed

Oh my god in the commentary for ASIB Mark Gatiss mentioned that the one canon continuity problem they haven’t addressed is the fact that Moriarty and his brother have the same first name. But that they’re “thinking of” addressing it.

Ugh people are getting their series 2 DVDs already? I want my bluray, ahh!

Well, it’ll be a while before I get mine, anyway… But hopefully links for Sherlock Uncovered surface soon.

I’m really worried that it’s going to hit me tomorrow when I’m at work that Moriarty is dead and then I’ll just start crying.

Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen.

I don’t think I shall be sleeping tonight.

Okay so I’m obviously pissed about Moriarty but

I couldn’t think of a better way for him to go.

And of course

nothing is black and white in this show.
