This weekend, Disney’s “Frozen” officially became the highest grossing animated film of all time, and with $1,072.4 million worldwide, it has also entered the list of the top 10 biggest films of all time. The Walt Disney Studios’ seventh billion-dollar release, “Frozen” has earned an estimated $398.4 million at the domestic box office and $674 million internationally. (x)

Actually, adjusting for higher ticket prices and inflation, it’s Snow White, followed by The Lion King. Then Frozen, $300 million behind it. I love you Frozen, but by today’s ticket prices and dollar values, Snow made over $2 billion and that’s incredible. (it made $184 million in an era where tickets cost 25 cents I mean holy crap)
